Noppharat Thara Beach Krabi
Noppharat Thara Beach (as well written as Nopparatara Beach, Nopparat
Thara Beach or Noparatara beach) is a white sand beach about 2 km
long with the road running along side. At one end there is a bridge
over an inlet that takes you directly into Ao
Nang, and at the other, the Headquarters of the Krabi National
Park Association. This beach is a very popular Thai hangout. There
are lots of trees creating perfect shaded picnic spots. The beach
itself is very shallow for quite a distance out to sea so at low tide
it can be a very long walk to get to a swimming depth.
Noparatara beach has a growing number of restaurants, shops and resorts.
