Customer Base/Demographic
The business is targeted to older persons, handicapped persons and those with special needs that require permanent or 24 hour care while maintaining a style of living they require. The business will appeal to people of all ages and life situations that require special assistance. The guests we wish to reach will be mainly from European countries.

Intensive advertising with internet promotion and local hotels, restaurants etc., will be carried out.
Future Prognosis/Trends
In Europe for example care and treatment for the elderly or the partially incapacitated people is becoming increasingly more important. Not only for the families of the ill, or elderly, but as well as for the people themselves. The opportunities and facilities for care are limited in almost all countries and this is the reason we feel as a company this concept can only succeed.
In Germany currently government funding is given to residents in care facilities or old peoples homes. At this stage currently payment to other countries for home care is being considered by the German Government agencies and seems a likely alternative to only funding these care facilities in Germany. It is likely when this occurs other E.U. Countries will follow this plan.
About Marina Frei
For over 10 years Marina Frei is living and working in Thailand. Prior to this she was working in Germany as a manager and educator of a kindergarten which she formed herself. In her free time she was studying healing homeopathy, natural alternative therapies, and psychology.
During this period she completed all Reiki degrees (Japanese Healing) for Reiki Teacher/Master. This therapeutic healing remedy she has practiced for more than 15 years. Her focus changed to the whole body healing which brought her to Asia and India to continue in Thailand to learn therapeutic or alternative healing care practices.
Since 2-3 years she has been working as manager for SSS Recompression Chamber which is a facility offered to dive centers for diving related accidents.
Business Idea/Concept
Due to all the knowledge in care and therapy Marina has learned over the years she has come to the idea to create this care facility. The target for this idea is to give people who need care and assistance a proper facility to get the care they require in an atmosphere that promotes well being.
The Health center is approximately 5 kilometers from Ao Nang and the business idea is to create 6 individual bungalows, 1 care facility/therapy building, and one swimming pool.
All bungalows will be of European standard with Thai character. All bungalows are designed for wheelchair bound guests. The design layout for bungalows will create a private atmosphere for each bungalow allowing guests their own space again promoting well being.
Why Thailand?
The idea of this concept evolved due to discussions with local ex-pats and European tourists coming to this area. From the time spent living in this area, discussions with various groups and individuals the following are reasons why this is the place to launch this health center here:
- The living costs are much lower than in European countries
- Thailand offers an ideal setting to live out a person’s twilight years. The culture, landscape and climate is very positive and allows a more open mind set to the assist in the healing process.
- A similar facility in European countries is much more expensive and does not offer as many therapeutic options due to the high amount of rooms in most facilities. Therefore intensive and almost one on one treatment is not on offer in these facilities.
- The climate is positive for many different illnesses (arthritis, back problems, psychological problems and breathing related illnesses).
- Food available in Thailand is very healthy and there is a huge selection of fruits and vegetables etc., on offer at much more reasonable prices to European countries.

The services offered are in three categories:
Category 1.
Independent/Self Sufficient people. These people are only wishing to attend at the Health Centre to take part in the wellness and therapy portion of services offered.
Service Offered
Individual doctor visits. Reiki and massage on a weekly basis. Three times a week Yoga and all daily meals included.

Guests who require a higher level of care and are interested in regular therapy treatments.
Service Offered
Regular doctor and nurse visits. Reiki 1 time a week, massage 2 times a week, Yoga 3 times a week and 2 times water therapy a week. All daily meals included.

Capital and Investment Requirements
The investment amount for the project is 3,700,000 Thai Baht (70,000 Euro).
2,000.000 Mio THB capital are available already.
1,700,000 Mio THB are requiried
as credit or business investment.
The investment plan details the fact that 6 bungalows are the minimum required to ensure a return of the investment. When a profit is shown from the initial investment further bungalows would be build to accommodate more guests and therefore increase profit returns. The cost for construction bungalow is 250,000 baht. The expected amortization for one bungalow is expected no later than 18 months. The surplus funds per bungalow per month are 20,000 baht.
